About Me
Many of my current clients remember the days of me being the friendly voice at the other end of the phone when they were calling to speak to their attorney. Before starting my firm, I worked for the law firm of Deeba Sauter Herd from 1995 to 2014. I was originally hired as the receptionist while taking evening classes at St. Louis Community College at Meramec. I completed my undergraduate work at Webster University at night while working as the firm’s legal secretary. Upon earning my BA in Legal Studies and a Certificate in Paralegal Studies, I added Paralegal to my title at the firm. I went on to complete my nocturnal legal education at St. Louis University’s School of Law and, upon graduating and passing the Missouri Bar, the partners hired me as their Associate Attorney.
I was mentored all those years by great men and I am truly grateful and blessed to have been able to learn from such down to earth people during those formative years of my legal career.
I focus mainly on the practice areas of estate planning (wills, trusts, durable powers of attorney, healthcare directives, living wills, deeds); probate matters (decedent’s estate, guardianship, conservatorship); probate litigation (removal of personal representative or trustee); small business matters (choice of entity, document preparation and review, leases, contracts, shareholder agreements); business succession planning (stock transfer restrictions, asset purchase agreements); and general real estate matters (deeds, leases, sales contracts)
I am a member of The Missouri Bar, the American Bar Association, and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis.
